Bella Cucina’s Savory Tomato Jam is both sweet and savory, with a decadent undertone of Ceylon cinnamon that permeates the sweetness of locally grown tomatoes. An elegant everyday ketchup replacement, this jammy spread will elevate your average burger and enhance your momma’s meatloaf.

Ingredients:

1/2LB. Ground Chuck
1/2LB. Ground Veal (I prefer ground pork)
1 Clove Garlic, Chopped
1/4 Cup Panko Breadcrumbs
1 Whole Egg
1 Teaspoon Bella Cucina Peperoncini & Pimenton Savory Salt (my favorite Wicked Good salt with garlic is amazing too)
1/8 Teaspoon Wicked Good Pepper
3 Tablespoons Bella Cucina Organic Savory Tomato Jam

Instructions:

In a large mixing bowl, add the meat, herbs, garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, pepper and 2 tablespoons of tomato jam. Mix by hand or with a wooden spoon just until well blended.

Form meatloaf mixture into patties. Bake in 350 F oven for 20-25 minutes until done, or grill for a few minutes until meat is cooked through. Serve on brioche bun with a heaping tablespoon of tomato jam on each patty. Makes 4-6 burgers.

I so hope you enjoy this yummy burger! David loves leftover meatloaf sandwiches so this was a sure hit with him.

Happy cooking! Jennifer
