Wow! Our first Christmas at the Mansion event was a huge success, despite a little rain. Jennifer and the Hermann team transformed the Giddings Stone Mansion into an absolutely stunning holiday home. Seeing the rooms decorated for the season made it easy to envision a family living there. Rather than opting entirely for period decorations, Jennifer chose to use current decor that blended timelessly with the antique backdrop of the mansion. It truly brought the grand home to life while also providing endless inspiration for the upcoming Christmas season.
And don’t worry too much if you missed it–you can still see many of the fabulous items and accessories offered at Hermann Furniture! Be sure to mark your calendar for November 6, 2016, for our second Christmas at the Mansion.
Now, grab a cup of coffee or a glass of wine and enjoy a tour of Hermann Furniture’s Christmas at the Mansion 2015.
Downstairs Entry and Hall
A traditional Christmas color was used to unify each part of the downstairs grand hall. From the existing chandelier to the Christmas tree, floral arrangements, and the ribbons, red was the perfect accent.
Gold and silver gave this space a more formal yet neutral feel. Burlap and simple craft paper wrapping under the tree offered texture and kept the room from being too formal to be inviting.
Downstairs Dining Room
Gorgeous golds and jeweled fruit made this the perfect table for Thanksgiving or Christmas. The urn centerpiece featured gold branches with glass ornaments that caught the lights for an added sparkle.
Upstairs Front Bedroom
Rich jewel tones with gold accents filled this bedroom with holiday warmth.
Upstairs Back Bedroom
This airy room was decorated in pastels with a sophisticated twist, accented with silver and gray.
Leather, plaid, and a variety of textures gave the office the perfect holiday lodge feel.
Inspired by each room, Jennifer chose four different themes for the four tea rooms.
From the striking chair topiaries to the antique sleigh, the mansion was dressed in her holiday best.
Our Talented Team
This all started with one idea from Jennifer Hermann. Her idea grew into a vision that she and her parents, John and Patsy Herman, along with the entire Hermann Furniture team, brought to fruition with many hours of hard work. It was a beautiful fundraiser for the Heritage Society of Washington County, and it is something that the Hermann family has already committed to again for next year.
There were also many of the crew working behind the scenes doing the heavy lifting. Thank you to everyone that made this special event a success! We’re already dreaming up ideas for next year, so mark your calendar for the first weekend in November.

Absolutely loved Christmas at the Mansion. The food was wonderful as was the flavor of the tea. Came with 3 other ladies and we had a fabulous time. Can’t wait to get to Hermann’s to do some shopping and implement some of the decorating ideas.
