We’ve been working towards this all year, and now it’s almost time! Join us tomorrow, Saturday, November 7, at the Giddings-Stone Mansion for an event that benefits the Heritage Society of Washington County.
For a $5 donation (to the Heritage Society) at the door, guests will enjoy a self-guided tour that features different Christmas themes in each room. After gathering ideas and inspiration, guests are invited to visit Hermann Furniture in downtown Brenham to shop for items and decor featured at the mansion. Ten percent of store sales will go towards the Heritage Society.

I was impressed by every vignette and every room at the Giddings Stone Mansion. The floral arrangements and the Christmas decorations were such a visual treat. I’m in the holiday spirit now!
The décor at the mansion this past weekend was very pretty, and appropriate for the venue.
The afternoon tea did not meet my expectations. Where was the china? Where was the strong black tea? Where were the tender little cakes? Where was the pretty presentation? No points on quality, quantity or looks.
